For Kaze-Hime's contest ~ Krona and Nair. It was a good excuse for me to practice my lineart and try out some new coloring techniques, and I was sort of hit with idea right when I was reading the descriptions, so I had to draw it or go crazy. ;

Done in Painter 6.1 with an Intuos2 tablet. ~3.5 hours sketching and inking, and about 7 hours on coloring. Most of which was spent coloring the hair!! Stupid hair. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with how it came out, but it was SO time-consuming. The hair was what I first started coloring and the last thing I finished, becuase I kept on taking breaks from working on the hair to work on other parts. Versus say, the moon, which took like FIVE MINUTES and still came out pretty. Never doing long hair again!!!1 *next drawing will inevitably feature long hair*
