Not as painful as everyone thinks they are. I love my pointe shoes. They've been my dream for years. I never thought I would own my own pair and dance on them.My first time dancing on them seemed as natural as breathing. I can't describe it, really. I felt as if I'd been dancing pointe for years. The whole experience has been surreal and wonderful.
