In agreement with someone else, the back of the chair is a bit distracting.
But!
I am very glad to see you changing up your 'stock' lighting style! I think you may be getting a little too comfortable with the usual way you do things and would love to see you challenge yourself with something out of character. Maybe go balls out with some color (not literally balls out...please). Get out of the studio into nature. You know, something crazy!

awesome shot. gotta love the corsettes and women in your pictures. i also really like the grey quality you possess in your photos. you have your blacks, your whites..and then you also have that medium grey. most people can't work well with that, but you make it look perfect.
my only critisism to this piece is the chair. the bottom of it works fine with the photograph...but the top, however, looks like it's just sticking out of her back, and that really distracts the eye. i know it's a bit impossible to avoid that, but if a different chair were used, or maybe a little lower of an angle, than maybe it wouldn't have been so distracting.
sorry for the downer. but other than that, it's an amazing picture. i'm always very impressed with your work.

Love the photo, black and white definately suits it. In all of your photos you seem to manage to get these poses that look incredibly natural and as if it was a position the model would normally make. Which at times is really difficult to achieve with models. I love how the boot grabs your attention right away, giving that feel of size difference which ties in with the title of the piece.

This is one of my favourite images I have seen of yours thus far.. The simplicity of the black and white really makes the most of the texturualness (gods is that even a word?) of her ensemble and the clean lines of the room.
