Brave Frontier Elza and Alice Fan ArtI got the idea when I read Elza's profile when she face Alice's dead body on the battlefield.
This artwork took a lot of time to find technique and reference to create the scene that i want.

Elza should have used a Revive insteadΒ

But they weren't units yet. Revives can revive unconscious or comatose humans, but only if you are a unit can a Revive bring you back from death. Because units can't "die" a second time (they're ALREADY dead)β they're being pulled back to the Land of the Gods when they're "killed", where their souls are now bound to have to return to regularly. Using a Revive keeps them Summoned in Grand Gaia a while longer.

This is absolutely amazing! I'm wondering how people do these types of art (do you use programs like photoshop?). It seems a little blindblowing if this was all done in photoshop...I don't have too much knowledge in this field xD.

This is an example for references I used for this work, Thank to Shue13 for useful tutorial. He also has another awesome tutorials.
After searching references, I try my own technique to create the scene. It's trial and error, I have to try many techniques before I get the result that I want. Anyway, Photoshop brushes are reallyyy helpful when I painting the rain.

So amazing! Would like to see the scythe next to them brightened up a little. Maybe add similar lighting/reflection that is shown on Elza and Alice. Super minor nitpick though, just took me awhile to find the scythe. Still one of the most amazing fan arts I've ever seen.

Actually, I try another composition but somehow moving the scythe or adding object make overall composition changed and it cause losing focus on Elza and Alice. It gonna need a lot of time to fix that so I leave it as it be Β Anyway, thanks for the comment Β
