OH, dude this is BADASS! I have to say this is my favorite and best render so far in your gallery mainly because of the amount of detail you put into and how realistic it looks. It appears to have a couple layers of depth but they all seem to blend into the background very naturally. I like the fan render you're using as Lara (it'll be cooler when the game comes out so people can start using the in-game render). Plus it's a great action shot! The expression on the bear is just perfect! The only improvement I could think of is more expressive Lara since she isn't the full Tomb Raider badass yet, but you could have been going for a calm and in-control look for her which works too. It must to took forever to make but was worth it. Great job

Here's a thought I have had about the role that bear could play in the game.
There is in-fact only one creature, and it hunts you repeatedly throughout the course of the plot (whenever you are in the "wild" sections) serving as a sort of recurring boss and "embodiment" of the wilderness Lara is trying to survive. As the game progresses the bear becomes increasingly madder, more savage, and desperate through a combination of hunger, infected wounds, and rage against you for fighting/escaping it.
Eventually near the end of the game you have a final confrontation with a multiple choice ending that reflects Lara's own mental progression and overcoming (or not) her inner demons: Kill the creature in order to survive, fight it off and leave it alive but utterly beaten, fight it down and finish it off to end its suffering, let it escape to die alone but not at your hand ... etc etc.
Not trying to be cruel to animals here, but a big part of the rebooted Tomb Raider is "Lara" verses the wild, and the wild does not abide by our human morality.
