You should have your dad make prop tutorials.
Or have him point you to the tutorials he used so you can point me to them.
I desire to cosplay a Kain Highwind, and need tips for his spear.

He didn't use any tutorials or I would point you to them, just trial and error really!
But he's drawn some diagrams as to how we made some of his props, I'll scan them and upload them when I get the chance

Also, if you can, ask if PVC Piping would make a half-way decent lance/spear or not. I don't really want to carry a six foot wooden dowel around, under any circumstances.
