I am obsessed with the angst that Shin'ichi must feel. He's been "away" for so long that everyone thinks he's a creep for leaving Ran. They say horrible things about him right to his face because they don't know he's Conan. And he can't defend himself. He just has to sit and take it.It'd drive *me* crazy, anyway.

So true! I think about that all the time... And somehow, Conan displays almost no angst at all despite his angst-justified situation! In other anime, characters will be wangsty over stupid, petty things, like "not being strong enough". Conan says to all of them: Yeah, go get some REAL F###ING problems to whine about! >.<
