But not so friendly like in the movie. But that doesn't matter, cuz Gandalf isn't kind all the time ^_^ I like him very much in book and movie so I like your pic!

I think I had never seen a pic of Gandalf with the ring of fire showing until now. Again, I like your stilized design, and how you've used colour only in the eyes and the ring. Great work!

an animated version of LOTR would/should exactly be like [link] brownish paper on which it has been drawn is apt for this piece of art.

It makes me happy looking at this. He looks so fierce and strong despite his grey beard. I like the hints of colour you used on the papery background. It reminds me of the Tolkien journal type I had with just that same shade of paper. Lovely.
