I took a look through your gallery after seeing this picture; let me just say as a sweeping statement that you have an excellent grip on how best to use and accent your features in your photography. Keen analysis like that is every bit as important as technical execution in the creation of art, and I think the comments already listed testify to your accomplishments in the latter area.

As for this piece in particular, I think the colors were well chosen both as representatives of the concept of 'autumn' and as parts of the whole. The partially hidden lips evoke a sense of the hush that begins to take hold as the cold starts to creep in.
