(When I was little, I accidentally put my hand on a nest of bees - not properly a beehive - made in a small pole... and... well I came back home with a very red face

Actually, bumblebees are very peaceful insects. I always touch their fluffy bellies when I get a chance. They are so cute!
I saved one last summer. We were having a party, all the doors were open and one of those guys got lost in our kitchen. I couldn't catch it, it was too quick. Next morning it was crawling helplessly on the kitchen table. Its belly was absolutely flat. I guess it was starving to death. I took the poor fella to our garden and put it on blooming lobelias. Ten minutes later its belly was fat again and later on it lifted off and left our garden. My daughter was so happy to see it coming back to life and flying away...
