Here's own designs of Zelda & Link, their Hyrule is kind of like the one in Breath of the Wild

Zelda
A wise & elegant princess that is technically a queen now, she's a strong leader & a stubborn friend. She's willing to do what she has to to protect those she cares for even if it means forcing them to rest or going to look for them when she's in a weakened state. Though doing well herself(having worked on repairing her kingdom & having gotten married) she worries a lot for her friend/champion Link, who seems to never be resting. Though having high hopes for the future she still has her worries besides the ones she has for Link.

Link
Link is Zelda's "pint sized" champion & friend that loves food, he is the incarnation of a great hero that has been incarnated over time. Despite this or maybe due to this he has gone mute due to trauma & thanks to believing he has to keep up the appearance of a great hero. Due to issues from his past lives & from having to help Hyrule recover from the years before defeating Calamity Ganon he struggles to settle down, has to be forced to rest especially if he pushes himself to far & seems unable to fully talk about what he went threw.(Pretty much doesn't realize this world's attempt at therapy is an option) Despite this Link desperately longs to settle down & become a mother, he knows he might never get to settle down thanks to his past but he hopes that he'll finally be able to rest & have the family he hoped for.
