Ignore the fact a Light Chao has wings

This is an OC I've had for a long time but haven't really done much with him besides that pic of Sonic & Shiro talking about trauma. At one point Spices was named Mr.Pumpkin & was a Chao with a black body, wings on his head & some how his head was mutated to look like a Jack-o-Lantern.

Spices is Sonic's childhood pet that he didn't reunite with until Venice was a toddler. Sonic some how unknowingly evolved him to look like Chaos 0, the Chao was named Spices because well spices in chili dogs. For as long as Sonic can remember Spices has been really derpy from chasing ceiling fans to rolling around on the ground after having likely been in a dangerous situation or even being left on his back & struggling to get up as if he was a turtle to the fact his favorite toy is an empty/cleaned out coffee cup that his often times attempts to drink out of. Despite how much everyone questions his IQ/sanity he is very loyal to his owner, he'll do his best to follow Sonic around(or anyone else he lives with) or even get him help even if because of how derpy he is someone(Shadow) will be confused as to why this Chao is at their door. There's also the fact Spices was kept somewhere safe around the time Sonic was forced to leave his home & despite how many years they were separated he still searched for Sonic.

Sonic adores him, Mephiles & the kids like him, Shadow warmed up to him & for some reason carries him outside like he's going to use him as an attack dog if Shadow goes to check what's outside at night.
