Iv'e been on the Dark side ever since I've heard of it, I prefer darkness over the light and even drew a picture in my journal of a good dark dragon and an evil light dragon.

There's always a villain, who's personality is thought out, deeper pasts, and they actually have motives for doing what they do. 8D
Most heroes are only heroes because "it's the right thing to do". XD
But there's no real back-story behind it. =w=

Dark still remains evil, while Shadow is only evil for...most of the manga, but he still turns good! Which is good! There both awesome, so it doesn't really matter that much.
