Something really interesting happened with this one.
So for backstory - the way Zee's transformation powers work, as far as I can tell, is that she actually grants the "victim" the ability to transform into whatever object, and then she adds a mental block on top of that to make them think they can't turn back. So when we return them we just have to remove that block. But it also means - and most people don't realize this - that they can turn back into whatever thing we turned them into, whenever we want.
So after Zee turned him into an MP3 player, we did the normal teasing things - made him sing songs for us (he has a great voice tbh), looked at what was in his internal storage (just the folders! We didn't look at the file contents but we wanted him to know we could have!!)
Zee doesn't get to turn people into computers often, but it's nice because I can put a little app on, just to monitor his emotional state - make sure to keep it in the nervous / intimidated zone and not the terrified zone (unless we really think they deserve it) - and I forgot to turn off the monthly report emails that are on by default. So anyway, four weeks after we return him to the other superheroes, I get an automated email, and... if I'm reading the stats correctly, he's been turning himself back into an MP3 player on a regular basis. On purpose! And it actually makes him really happy!
I imagine he must be listening to music. Wonder what it feels like when the music is inside you? I bet it's an emotional experience to be sure.
P.S. If you're reading this because you're a superhero who stole my journal, please have him disable that email, it's a security risk.
