I'm beginning to get into Warhammer (specificly Mordheim, for those who know the game) thanks to my boyfriend Bob. As if I need something ELSE to suck away what little remains of a life. Anyway, naturally I had to pick the Lizardmen as my warband. They are not typicly used with the Mordheim system, so we're doing a little bit of tweaking, converting, and customizing with the rules to make it work.

What is getting me most excited about this whole thing is putting the things together and painting them. Screw playing war! I'm planning an awesome looking band, and I did this drawing to finalize the color scheme for my lizardmen. I wanted them to be different than the regular blue and turquois color scheme that's in the lizardmen books, but not so far removed from that they look totally different. I went with a dark gray, almost black body with aqua, blue, and violet scales I'm planning to paint to look shiny and jewel-like. My leader, the one in the drawing, will be riding an albino "cold one", which I think will definatly make him stand out against all the other models in my group.

So, yeah. I'm becoming even more of a dork than before. Fear me!

(for those interested, I may post photos of my painted war band on my website once I finish them, and IF they're any good. Be on the look out for those in the next month or two...)
