Personality InformationPersonality: Cutleaf is easily irritable and self-absorbed, but adaptable and precise in taking in knowledge around him. If there's anything who can think of a way not only out of a situation, but how to live with that situation, it's likely him. He strives for knowledge and how to best use to for both himself and his future generations. He's mostly self-motivated, and quite serious on gathering intelligence. His awareness of his strive for this has made him gain quite an ego as well. He doesn't form attachments well, but the ones he does have he try to keep them close.

History
Cutleaf was born to rogues out in the wilds, living the typical life one could expect for such a life. He quickly realized at a young age through the importance of knowledge that his own parents refused to take into account. He stayed with his parents when he gained younger siblings, but the litter had been sickly and died, leaving his parents in deep mourning. It was around this time that Cutleaf left them, not wanting to be reminded of the deaths.

Sometime after going on his own, he met awkward former kittypet Clover and still has no idea why she decided to stick around with him, the most he can think of is that she never adapted to the wild life when they met. Over time, he learns to be grateful for her company, the two even developing a system of communication without speaking, and later became mates after sometimes. Their first litter happened when they went wandering near some territories Cutleaf decided to try and keep away due to a large number of cats there and had three kits in it who they named Bulblet, Adder, and Sunset. Though he didn't voice it, he was very proud how both Adder and Sunset gained his pelt color and how Adder later showed to gained his fangs, although when the kits' eyes gained their true colors, he felt quite some delight at seeing his daughter having his mate's eyes... Bulblet looked much like Clover, though Cutleaf was more delighted to see his coat pattern being similar to his own. He was constantly quiet, barely making any noise, making Cutleaf assume that the kit was sickly. Remember his young siblings, and not wanting to have to go through that again, he convinced Clover to let him take Bulblet away to leave in the territories. Doing so, Cutleaf made sure to not look back and make a quick retreat to go back to Clover. Either their son would be found and attempted to be cured, or he would die, but Cutleaf would not return and never thought to check in fear of it still having ended up as the latter.

His interaction with Adder and Sunset within the moons before they had joined the Windwalkers made him realize key things about both of them that further has caused him to play favorites with them. For one... Adder was an idiot where Sunset definitely had enough brains for both of them.

The family came across a group known as the Wind Walkers. Despite being slightly reluctant, Cutleaf allowed Clover to talk him in to join the group, as her paranoia of another incident like Bulblet reminded the tom to practice what he said about knowledge and used to the group to their advantage for their remaining kits. However, hearing of the faiths of the group placed the two in an odd position.

While Clover made it clear she'd try to follow the Day Walker's path, Cutleaf saw more potential with the wants of the Night Walkers for knowledge and power. Despite the history behind it, he had less of a connection to the ideals of the faith of Day Walkers.

Neither Adder or Sunset chose to follow either fate right away, more hoping to decide when older, although Cutleaf would be fine and see no wrong with whatever Sunset would choose and definitely hoped that Adder didn't become a Night Walker.
