Ok, so I've been kinda of trying to catch up with the TMNT shows and I came across the episodes containing Tiger Claw when looking for the episode where Karai mutates. And I have to say, it was about time there was an official feline mutant in the show. (Ice cream kitty does not count!) So the idea of my oc Kuta, who happens to be a lion/human mutant, meeting him for the first time, was too hard to resistant.

Now, yes, I am aware that Tiger Claw got his eye-patch and torn ear after his first episode in the series. This meeting would take place way later, when Kuta would be coming back from Asia herself and where she would be around her mid to late twenties.

Ok, before asks about that last part, because I know that question would probably come up, Yes, Kuta would eventually leave the TMNT group to go the Asia to follow a lead about her past from before her mutation. That trip leads to a very unsettling debate in Kuta's mind, but I'll just say that spot on her that looks like a foot is a big clue.

So yes, I'm going to include some story time here.

This really begins about a year or two into Kuta's and Ralph's relationship, so Kuta would be around 18, and I'm slightly thinking that somewhat a year before Tiger Claw shows up. During a battle that deals with some Foot-clan ninja, one of them drops a small box that contains a bunch of pictures of a orphanage, one of the younger girls having the same necklace that Kuta wears and bears a great resemblance to what Kuta would have looked like as a human girl. These pictures would cause Kuta to become somewhat distance with the entire group, including her boyfriend Ralph and 's OC Liz. Finally deciding to get some advice from Splinter, due to him being the oldest the leader of the "pride," Kuta is told that it is her choice to follow whatever path she makes, though staying in the past often causes great consequences.

Within the following week, Kuta would later stay behind in the lair while the rest of the group went on a patrol and leave the lair once Splinter went to mediate. She leaves no note, nothing saying where she's going, when's she's coming back, or why she's leaving. She just takes whatever few belongings she calls her own, whatever Kraang brain that's left in the fridge for food, and just leaves. This journey would later end up with her finding the orphanage in the countryside of northern Japan. And, again, what she finds causes her to debate herself and her loyalties.

Kuta later comes back after quite some time to find many changes in the groups lives ranging from Karai joining them and changing into a mutant later, to some of hers and the turtles considered enemies turning into more mutants as well, to being introduced to Ralph's new girlfriend Mona Lisa. (Common, we all know that's going to come up sooner or later) And now Kuta as to deal with the consequences of leaving the group for the whole journey, as well as never leaving, again, a note.

And for those who don't still understand all of this, Kuta joined the group after Liz somewhat befriended her. However, before that, and until this whole story plot, Kuta had no memory of her past aside from the fact that the Kraang cause her mutation. But she never knew if was born as a human or a lion until this trip. (and yes, she found out she was born as a human) And during all that time between her mutation and meeting the turtles, Kuta lived all by herself, with little to no social contact. Despite the fact that she is a human-lion mutant, she's had little opportunities to actually go along social terms as a human would, causing Kuta to think more as a lion would. Even by the time she decided to make this trip, she is still learning how to use the human part of her mind. She still thinks much of her world as a lion would.

Anyway, back to whole Tiger Claw thing. So when, aside from any Fan-based, have we actually ever seen a human/feline mutant aside from Tiger Claw? The idea of two feline mutants meeting up with each other by some coincidence is actually something I haven't found anywhere else so far. And we all would have to consider that Tiger Claw became a mutant when he was very young. And I have to consider the fact that before meeting the Turtles, Kuta was a mutant for 4 to 5 years, meaning that if she was 16 when she met them, she would have been either 11 or 12 years old, which is still considered very young. By all means, mutant wise, these two are surprising similar in that way, as well as being felines. And at first glance, I bet they would be rather shocked! Yes, Tiger Claw would no doubt know about the turtles friends, but Kuta wouldn't there than! He wouldn't have known that there was another mutant in the world that happened to be feline! And the Kuta only knew two types of mutants that were considered Predator dog, one being Dogpound, the other the hyerillas! And no, they are not meant to be a romantic couple, they would only be curious of each other, that's it!
