There isn't much of a plot really... at least not for the first season. That's one of the reasons why it took me years to read it. I stopped for a while... and then just picked it back up recently.
You can try watching the anime if you can find it on veoh or something...

Not to mention that Kakei and Saiga occasionally pop in for tea, as well as discussion on how to best torture their young helpers/customers.
Oh and Tomoyo, Uryuu and Hokuto would bump into each other at the fabric store and suddenly start discussing which fabric holds up best in battle.
Bleach and CLAMP... they make up a very cracky and hilarious crossover in my mind.
