Description
This is one of a set of three character doll figures I made a while back. They are based on characters from the brothers Grimm tales - 'the true sweethearts'.

For each of the figures the heads, hands and feet are sculpted in super sculpey, they have glass eyes and are painted in acrylic washes. They have an inner wire armature which is then given a body shape using fibrefill sewed together with cotton. A fabric body is then made to hold everything in place and then finally the clothes are made using a variety of different fabrics. For hair I mainly use mohair.

These characters each vary in size the troll is 12inches, the old woman 16 inches, and the girl 18 inches.
