Before starting the explanation, as I said before, I had to eliminate that iconic half gorgon design from Cala María since it had many limitations (I imagined that maybe her fighting style is like that of viper-Kung fu Panda) but in the end I opted not only to change her design, but also change its history that I will update soon.

Cala Maria is a mongrel of a Gorgon and a Merman, Like saltwater mermaids, she can breathe on the surface and in the sea. They have the ability to get out of the water to transform their tail into legs, as a result their scales dry out and hang between the legs (functioning as a loincloth).Most mermaids are clumsy on land, but Cala has practice.

She has the guts to breathe underwater in her left arm, and she doesn't like to wear clothes, mermaids usually only use something to cover their chest, but she doesn't like to wear clothes. She has the ability to grow giant, reaching 7 meters in height. Mermaids can communicate with sea animals, but Cala can communicate with the most dangerous and wild animals and make them help her.

Her original figure used to be a gorgon-like attachment, but after her deal with the devil she controls her half gorgon and half mermaid.
Also she can control certain territory of the inkwell sea, territory where no one can sail or fish, since it's prohibited in inkwell due to Cala. In her territory there are thousands of submerged ships along with thousands of riches (which are now her property), which are protected by the ghosts of the same sailors, manipulated by Cala Maria. Many pirates dare to enter in order to rescue some of the valuable "treasure guarded by the Sea Monster of Inkwell". But those who enter those waters, Cala Maria murders them ruthlessly

In her gorgon form, Cala can drool venom that she can control at voultad, her snakes on her head can also breathe underwater and her petrifying gaze works like a "laser beam" that can target a certain target.
