Description This took wayyyy to long, oceans are so hard to draw. But im really satisfied with how it turned out. Anyway, this is actually the Widower ship in modern times months before the earthly catastrophic event that turned the world to a wasteland over time, in the ship’s last few hours before it was pulled under the lashing waves in the Bermuda Triangle. In was in these last few hours that its Captain pondered his last regrets over a half emptied bottle, not knowing that he and his crew would soon meet their demise.

Now, one might wonder what a man like Victor would have as regrets; well, many things unfortunately. What most didn’t know was that in life, Victor was quite troubled- dealing with a crumbling family and marriage, and with his own alcoholism that caused him to often raise a hand in arguments with his wife, who in turn also became equally as violent. Victor also had two children; two daughters that were 9 and 12 years old. They barely ever saw their father due to his sea bearing job on a cargo ship. Although Victor hated to be away from his children as he truly did love them dearly, he knew it was better, to spare them from having to watch him have yet another fight with their mom when he was home.

The arguments often pertained to money as his wife couldn’t work and Victor brought in the family’s money. But when it came time to pay bills; the money was never there, having been used up in secret by his wife who used it for frugal things for herself. Victor’s own spending for alcohol didn’t help either, but was a small dent compared to the money his wife took without telling him. This would fire up his anger and raise arguments between the two, in particular Victor demanding to know where the money went while his wife blaming it all on him. It hurt him deeply when his daughters would witness the fighting as he cared more about them than even his wife. Victor used his job as a means to escape the hell at home, faring on the ocean being his only peace and tranquility.

But, one evening after a fight gone horribly violent, furniture tossed and things broken- his daughters had watched the whole thing, and both were terrified. Victor packed up his things and stormed out, leaving to be at his ship’s docks by morning as he was to be on the ocean for a few weeks- he was done with the argument and fight. He said no goodbyes to his children and did not try to apologize for his behaviour they witnessed; he simply left- the terrified and heart broken expressions on his girl’s faces burned into his mind. Little did he know that would have been the last time hed ever see his children again, and that was the last thing hed remember of them, the last memory with his family; a raging fight that would scar what was left of his family. No apologizing, no trying to right his wrongs, no comforting the broken minds of his little girls; These would be his last regrets. Now, Victor lives with his regrets even to his current day centuries later as the undead captain of the wasteland Widower. They burn in his mind as clear as if it had just happened; the fight going over in his head like a record on repeat that he cant bring to a stop. And there is not a single day where he doesnt regret his actions in life; wishing he could go back and fix his wrongs. And he wonders how long after his own death that his beloved children met their demise in the global catastrophic event.
