My version of Paper Jam, although not the worst game ever, i'm kind of dissapointed at it's wasted potential (Just Peach getting kidnapped... how original...) and lack of Paper Luigi, in my idea, i would make Mario appear in the first cutscene of the game as a NPC (you'll still control Luigi) and then when you open the book, Mario tries to stop the whole Paper Invasion and gets pulled inside the book, putting himself in the Paper World and switches places with Paper Mario, now it's up to them and their "new companions" in each world to fix this mess before their worlds fuse and collapse with each other, or else they'd have to deal with double the troubles.

About Bowser's family, i wouldn't make them the main villiains of the game, but one of the antagonists in the heroes way, because they want to capture the book so that if they fail to cause evil in the normal world, they will just flee to the Paper World instead and they'll try to take control over it, kind of like Bowser Jr's Journey, where it's a mode connected to the Main Story.

(Extra: NO, Paper Mario can't just enter the book again with Mario there, because their can only be one Mario in that universe for the story to exist, if both enter the book, it's text might get "Corrupted" because it didn't have 2 Marios Before.)

I'm not a game developer so this is just a concept i had in mind if i was making a plot for a crossover game between these two.
