Date: 1st March 1963

A storm brews in the background as NWR No.2 ‘Edward’ charges up Lickey Incline. During this time, many locomotives from all across the country could be seen in areas that were not normally seen, this included NWR engines.

Please note the burns as the locomotive had been at resting Suddery, the closed town to Brendam when the Bomb had detonated.

Today is preserved on the Ffarquhar Branch Heritage Railway.
