wow! i like your kind of realistic style of lao shi. i think it's kind of odd that lao shi looks like a chinases dragon and jake dosen't. the both come the same chinaese heritage. anyway, really great pic! i don't see too much fan art of him.
p.s. i absloutely hate lao shi's new look in season two!! he as no nose!*must subpress anger*

I think they made them different in the 1st season just have a variety. However, after some speculation, they made Jake with a Chinese Dragon body to show the relation to his heritage.

yeah, i would liked the resigns if that made them better, but no they made them worse! grandpa looks like a kepler elf and his dragon is odd looking, and jake's dragon is suppose to look an eastern dragon, but it doesen't, he looks more like and iguana with wings.

Yeah I was soo angry! The only thing that kept me watching cause of the story line. This just shows that people do care about how the characters looked and that why ADJL went down after season 2.

yeah, pretty only reason i still watch the show, it had a better storyline. but seriouly, why they change it? it was fine the way it was.

I think it had something to do with finacial difficulties. It was cheaper to have them drawn somewhere in Asia than to draw them up in America...

The show isn't my favorite, but I do like the grandfather's dragon design.
However their "new" version that their gonna make the show in looks like crap.
How can they think that those jagged lines look better than nice smooth curvey lines?
Great picture btw XD
