Description After a whole morning's work, here they are. Finally, the very last set of the pokedex project! The legendary duo here to close up the day. I wouldn't call them a crowning jewel because I loved most of the new designs and feel they all are a jewel of some sort. Anyway, I hope you like them, I know I do.
Some thoughts that helped with design:
- Mew: Prototype of all pokemon, holder of the DNA of every species, ancestor to all and ages old wanderer of worlds. Both symbolically and somewhat physically, embryo of all pokemon life

- Mewtwo: Clone of Mew, ultimate violation on nature, unnatural and imperfect creation of man, holder of a grudge against its makers and on life itself.

I will post a journal later today with the details of what will come next. In the meantime, I want to thank you all for the huge support! thank you guys!

Glad you liked mewtwo and yeah, I thought many would dissaprove on Mew but that's just the way I think it should be. It is supposed to represent an embryo and progenitor of life, a real prototype of pokemon

........I have no idea what you just said but sure why not , I don't dissaprove of mew, he's still as cute as ever, it's just cuzz he's drawn to fit your art style and I guess it's just sinking in. If anything he looks blobby and adorable.....like ditto he's just different I guess

Dude me no take biology sorry! lol but I get the part where it's the ancestor of all other pokemon just fine I think if I remeber right they said mew is the most powerfull legend there is, yet they made another legend at the end of the pokemon movie series who is believed to be the creator of pokemon....kind of a paradox isn't it? mew would be his ancestor but mew's a pokemon so he should've created him, is it just me who think these people didn't plan to far ahead

Nah, I think they are making it as they go along, and that's why there are these paradoxes. That's why I like first gen, just keep those legends as the only ones and that's that. I mean, Arceus and whatnot, I like mew to be the real ancestor or prototype or whatever and the three birds to be the elements in chaos. That's it for me

yeah mew mewtwo,eintei and lugia and his colorful birdies but I don't really mind so much I just choose the first gen over the rest, the new pokemon look kinda whimpy. Not my fav

the second generation pokemon...while I do agree that the 1st is the ultimate, I have this big sympathy towards the 2nd...it retains the quality, while adding some nice pokemons, without making any crappy design

Torso and shoulders on Mewtwo look kinda... new generationy... but the palms... great touch (no pun intended )
Mew is... rather creepy, impish looking.
