Description
Personifications of the Provinces of Ireland. Did male and female version of both due to each province consisting of a lot of counties (which I will be doing next) and hence being very diverse.Top and Bottom, left to right
My personification of the Republic of Ireland grabbing the smaller female Ulster as three of Ulster's nine counties are a part of the Republic of Ireland with the remaining six being Northern Ireland
Ulster
Counties: Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, (London)derry, Tyrone (in the North).
Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan (in the South)
Ulster is more well known for it walks and hiking areas and the sheer amount of water in it including rivers, loughs, lakes and the weather! So my Ulster's are wearing walking gear and wearing a coat/hoodie due to the weather.
My personification of Northern Ireland is dragging a bigger male Ulster as more counties of Ulster are in Northern Ireland
Connaught
Counties: Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo.
Connaught is well know for its numerous churches (so mine are in their "Sunday best") and water-sports/sailing (hence the sailor hats and sandles and you can bet a shamrock that they're wearing their wetsuits under their Sunday clothes!
Munster
Counties: Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford
Munster is well known for it's music and its water-sports, so they're wearing their beach gear and listening to some good Irish music!
Leinster
Counties: Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, Wicklow.
Leinster is well known for its monastries and viking invaders so we have a little monk and a viking girl!
Keep an eye out for my personifications of all the counties of Ireland!!!
Hope you enjoy, please , COMMENT, !
