Description
The Lock is an ability passed down to several members of the mysterious Lock Family of Earth Ponies (One in particular), spanning from generation to generation. This ability, enigmatic as it is, allows anypony who has it to determine the morality of whoever they are near.

The Lock is often characterized by a burning sensation in the possessor's eyes when a pony isn't exactly on the up-and-up (Dr. Caballeron, for example). This sensation is usually temporary, but if persistent, the possessor may act on his/her reaction to the sensation until it goes away. In many cases, this burning only occurs once every couple of encounters with the pony and/or creature it was caused by.

If the pony/creature is benevolent (Not quite Fluttershy, but still decent), the Lock reacts to them by making them seem glossy in the possessor's vision.

There are many forms of the Lock that vary between members of the Lock Family. Lock's Lock for example manifests similar to Cliff Sense, except, instead of vague visions of the future, the probability of imminent danger manifests in the form of a migraine and, in his sight, negative colors (Think Discord's "Opposite Dimension") followed by something bad happening before his vision returns to normal. Seeing, tasting, touching, hearing or even smelling certain things will trigger it at random. In most scenarios, if a pony is seen frequently throughout his "Lock-On", they're usually someone with malicious intent. However, this could also mean they're a victim of either an upcoming accident, or of the aforementioned pony.
