Tried my hand at a male body reference since i had just did a female. Males i must say are alot easier to paint since they dont have to have long hair or amazingly hard nipples to draw lol. Took me a few weeks because i have not had any time for it lately.EDITED 5.23.08. Found a skin tutorial that majorly impacts the texture of the skin. So i changed skin a bit, gave tha guy some hair, Couldnt reshape the stomach without adding less shadows ... so the entire stomach is a bit lighter. Even tho i like the skin tutorial ... he looks a bit dirty now lol.

thanks ... and yeah i know i think i just use the blender brush too much cause i end up with a blurred look on certain parts. But i will try my best to straighten it all out. Thanks tho i appreciate it.

If you ever decide to go on with this try to refine some shadow and highlights and that guy will look much more realistic. And i'm not sure but maybe the eye in the shadow should be a bit darker.
btw did you use yourself as reference for the face? I'm not really sure, but i think it looks a bit like you

And thanks i am still working on it as a matter of fact cause i dont like the way its turned out quite yet. I thought if i put the shadows too crisp it would take away from the natural look of things. But you are right and i will definitely give those parts more attention.
The eyes started out pretty dark i just kept adding highlight after highlight trying to give more detail to them. Guess i did brighten them up too much. But i will play around with those too. And as for him looking like me ..... I did give him a few features of my own. A Shaved eyebrow, Teardrop tattoo, green hazel eyes, and even my style of facial hair ... but im afraid it was not my own picture i used as a reference .... flattering tho for you to think we resemble each other lol. Lucky him

It's always difficult too choose where to add a bit more details and where to let the eye do the rest. That's why i always avoid to draw/paint humans. But i'm sure you'll manage that too. But don't update this dev or delete it later- use it to see the differences between the versions.
You have a tattoo on your face? 
Was the eyebrow visible on your webcam? Because that seemed familiar but maybe i've seen it somewhere else too- i have no idea *is getting old*

lol it actually did not hurt as bad as you would think. The one on my arm hurt more than the one on my face. And im not sure if its visible on my webcam pic. I have been being lazy lately and havent put it back up on my page but ill do it now and check it out.
