I'm quarantined so I've had a LOT of time to draw and stuff

so I finished a sketch I made a few months ago

This is Phosphor! He is the son of Chrysalis and Shining Armor.

(A changeling - pony hybrid, I call him a poneling)

How?

My headcanon is that during the time that Chrysalis replaced the real Cadence, Shining got a little too cuddly and a few months later this boy popped out of an egg back at the Changeling Hive! Chysalis didn't even think it was possible that she could be impregnated by a pony, but alas it happened.

Phosphor became prince of the hive, but was very timid and extremely pony-like, leading most Changelings to mock him, until the Hive reformed and his mother self banished herself, leaving Phosphor. This was the first time Phosphor had come into contact with ponies, as he was sheltered his whole life.

Twlight (Moonlight) recognized right away that he was not like the other Changelings (could not go through Metamorphosis), and quickly saw the resemblance between him and Shining Armor.

While Cadence was disgusted with Shining at first, she soon forgave him as he was technically under Chysalis' control, and adopted Phosphor into her and Shining's family. Shining on the other hand cried when he found out and profusely apologized to Cadence and Phosphor for being a terrible pony.

He now lives in the Crystal Empire, and while still looked at funny sometimes, is no longer mocked and is actually a little happier without his mom. When he saw the statue, he didn't cry or smile. He just remained emotionless, but you could tell he wished that she accepted Starlight's friendship.
