Description Well I'm an eight ball shooting double fisted drinking son of a gun
I wear My jeans a little tight
Just to watch the little boys come undone
I'm here for the beer and the ball busting band
Gonna get a little crazy just because I can

Lexi stood outside the entrance to the County Line ballroom, the lyrics of Gretchen Wilson's Here for the Party thrumming in her ears.  The bridal party was paired up as if they were at the starting line of a NASCAR race, at pole position Lexi and Bo, then KC and Mike, followed by Savannah and Kyle, and finally the bride and groom, Charlotte and Travis.

Lexi's hand was tight in Bo's clammy grip.  She stood five foot three, and Bo was over a foot taller and roughly twice as wide.  The pairings were based on how close the friendships were between members of the bridal party and the bride and groom, which explained why Lexi, the smallest female in the group, somehow ended up paired with the largest male.  Lexi felt like a novelty act, small and dainty next to the biggest, most redneck male of the bunch.  Lexi was a southern Fay Wray to Bo's countrified King Kong.

You know I'm here for the party
And I ain't leavin' til they throw me out
Gonna have a little fun gonna get me some
You know I'm here, I'm here for the party

Meanwhile Savannah was teamed up with Kyle.  Like the other guys, he was big, but he was also the shortest and fattest.  Lexi knew that Savannah didn't like being paired up with someone fat, as if they had assigned the two fatties as partners.

“Ya ready sexy Lexi?” Bo grunted.

“Please don't call me that.”

“Let's start off with the bridal party – coming all the way from HOTLANTA, LEXI RYDER, and from our own AUSTIN TEXAS, BO WHEELER!”

Bo's grip tightened and he pulled Lexi forward out onto the ballroom dance floor.  Lexi instinctively caught Savannah's gaze, and they smiled at each other as if sharing a private joke.  Lexi knew she looked like a little doll next big ol' Bo.

As Lexi and Bo danced out, he didn't lead, rather he roughly manhandled her into position, batting her with his big oven mitt hands.

“Watch the hair, ass!” she hissed, as one of his oven mitts knocked her on the head.  Luckily she had double taped her wig to her scalp.  Lexi found that special occasions were the most risky when it came to her hair.  Whether it was a birthday party, New Year's Eve, Halloween, whatever the event, she took extra precaution.

“And now presenting the Bride's sister, and the life of the party, KARLA CAROLINE “KC” GOODMAN, paired with the groom's brother, MICHAEL EMORY WYATT!”

Lexi made it to the center of the ballroom, her hair more or less straight, and she clapped to the music as the rest of the bridal party entered.  After a day spent waiting, whether it be standing silently during the wedding ceremony or posing for what felt like thousands of photographs, Lexi was ready to let loose.

“Now we have the fiercely beautiful Texas State Trooper SAVANNAH “CHESTY” HILL and the groom's best friend KYLE TURNER!”

Lexi quit clapping as Savannah danced out.  Lexi stood there mesmerized, studying how Savannah's white dress hugged her curves and huge bottom as Savannah wiggled across the ballroom to the music.  According to KC Savannah's dress had been generously taken out to  accommodate Savannah's slowly expanding girth, but it still looked fit to burst.  Lexi bit her lip, and found herself half hoping Savannah's dress would split right down the middle, yet at the same time hoping it didn't for Savannah's sake.

“Finally we have the bride and groom, together as husband and wife for the first time ever, CHARLOTTE and TRAVIS WYATT!”

Lexi felt a twinge of jealousy as Charlotte and Travis strutted into the room, arm in arm.  She could see that Charlotte and Travis were in love.  Lexi knew what it felt like to be in love, but she would never have a big wedding day of her own.  Savannah had already her big day with Zach Brady, although Lexi had not witnessed it.  Lexi spent Savannah's wedding day at home, crying.

The County Line was an open air pavilion located on Lake Austin.  Lexi could smell the soft breeze coming off the lake, and if the music hadn't been so loud she would be able to hear nature's nighttime melody of crickets chirping and the frogs croaking.  The County Line was a beautiful venue, integrated into the natural surroundings of the lake.  But Lexi was more interested in the open bar, as she planned on getting extremely drunk before the night was over.  She would flush her dreams of Savannah away with alcohol.

“DANCE!” Bo commanded, batting Lexi with his oven mitt paws and knocking her out of her daze.

Survival instinct kicked in and Lexi jerked haltingly to the music as she tried to peer around the Neanderthal and see what Savannah was doing.  Lexi's obedience was only temporary.  If Bo kept bossing her around he was going to earn a hard kick in the nuts.

“Lexi!”

KC had sidled up behind Lexi, dancing with considerably more enthusiasm.  Bo looked wary of the competition.  It seemed everyone was interested in Lexi, except for perhaps Savannah, who Lexi could see across the dance floor.

Savannah's ass had bounce to it.  Savannah had put on some meat since her college days, but at her core she was still an athlete and could move.

The song ended and Lexi immediately turned and walked off the dance floor towards the bar.

“HEY!” Bo protested.  Lexi had yet to hear Bo utter a word longer than two syllables in length.

“I need a fucking drink!” Lexi grumbled.  KC shadowed her to the bar.

“I get paired up with him and he acts like we're married,” Lexi complained to KC.

“Give it up Bo!  She's a muncher!” KC yelled over her shoulder, and then grinned salaciously at Lexi.  “Isn't that right Lexi?”

“Spending time with you makes me consider going straight.”

“You're so funny Lexi,” KC giggled.  “You are so freakin' hot.  Shots on me!”

“It's an open bar dummy.”

KC frowned slightly then realized the implications.  “WOOOHOOOO!”
