I really like the classic colour scheme of the white coat and purple pants with whats quite a unique interpretation of the character - its different yet familiar and works really well for the character. The brown wash in the background gives the picture quite a 'primal' feeling if that makes sense. Good choice of the lighter colour in the background too, brings out the deep shadows and the rich colours without feeling out of place.
