part of a challenge circulating around dA. original: [link]figured this was a good challenge for me since i don't work with expressions very much. i just chose candy cane laine ( [link] ) and gave it a try.

These are so good!!
The only ones that didn't 100% connect with me were Fear, which needs a bit more fear in it, Despondent/Pouty, which needs to be more withdrawn with a bit more pout, and Sarcastic, which is a bit too sophisticated.

agreed. i didn't really push the emotions enough with the negative feelings, and i didn't know what to do at all with sophisticated! i'm glad i posted this, people gave me some really good feedback. maybe i should make a new sheet sometime with a different character to see if i learned anything at all haha. thanks for the comment!

You did a brilliant job portraying each expression, even though you have said you don't work with that much.
I really could tell which expression was which, and of course that's a good thing. xP
