I was inspired by the style challenge going around and wanted to try out the styles of some artists/studios that have inspired me enormously throughout the years! featuring my own character. oh and you can find krenz cushart's work here on deviantart: Cushartdrawn in photoshop with a cintiq 24HD.

Nice coloring as always, but I feel like you could have chosen some styles that were more different than your own. Ar first glance these all look the same, just slight shape variations here and there, but they all have the same aesthetic. I would have liked to see your style next to a Norman Rockwell, Talous Latrec, or Ren and Stimpy styles. All of those are vastly different not just from your own but from each other.
You can tell that your own style was influenced by these other artists, and there's nothing wrong with that. I just feel that for this challenge the more difference in styles the better. I guess imagine if you drew a Simpsons style and a Futurama style next to each other; they're basically the same thing.

i guess i could have challenged myself to draw in some style that has zero influence on my work, but that's not how i interpreted the challenge - most people are using it to honor the styles that inspire them and the artists/studios they like.

I guess I interpreted it differently as well. I'm also going to be doing this challange and I'm planning on doing styles that are different than my own. That's the fun thing about these challenges, there's many different ways to do them. Your work is beautiful so just keep doing what you do.

Wow...great job with the different styles! I find it hard just to stick with a style that I like for myself. Especially when I see what other artists are doing, that just has such an influence on me and how I want to create art. I like that Alfonse Mucha...I'm drawn to muted colors and earthy tones.

I am a huge fan of Mucha but I really love your demented "LOIS" Barbucci......The gaze really sings to me. I am still marveling at your command of the palette---well enough of the admiring---off to do a viking rampage on an innocent piece of paper. Wish me luck!

You’re the first one I see who does this with a selection of artists’ styles which have influenced them! All I saw is style memes with randomly picked styles. I really like how you not only vary your drawing style, but also the character design.
