I don't normally do a preview image, but viewing this as a tiny thumbnail just doesn't work on any level.For those who are curious, yes, I have been reading "Eragon" and "Eldest" lately. This image is a render of my interpretation of a couple of the characters in the books. Saphira was the more difficult character to do, as her scales are described as having a great deal of depth of dimension. The "effect" in the render was done by layering many textures to get a final result.
All that aside, I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out.

Yep, modeling and posing done in poser, rendering done via poseray and povray, postwork done in photoshop... I need to get some sleep now.
