- Kazuya's band was on the rise. Kazuya quitted his job to prepare for their mainstream debut. Although Kazuya was confused about his relationship with Taku, he was too busy for it.
- At the same time, Taku, feeling tired of his fruitless relationship with Kazuya, met Nako, a female colleague of same age as him.
- The debut of Kazuya's band was a great success. Taku felt that Kazuya was becoming more and more distant from him, while Nako, who loved and cared about him, was replacing Kazuya as that 'important person' in his life.
- Not until now had Taku thought about having a girlfriend. There were gossips that Kazuya had been close to a member of a popular girl idol group, which Kazuya did not confirm or deny. This made Taku determined to freed himself from the past and move forward.
- Taku started dating Nako. He did not tell Kazuya who was so obsessed with his music career.
- Two years passed. Taku and Kazuya seldom heard from each other.
- One day, Nako found out she's got Taku's child. Taku decided to marry Nako.
- Kazuya's music career was in a hiccup due to a scandal of his band members. He wanted to talk with someone but all his 'friends' were gone. He immediately thought of Taku who's ignored by him for a long time.
- At that time, Kazuya received Taku's wedding invitation. Emotions burst out in his mind: anger, desperate and remorse.
- Kazuya rushed to Taku's model agency in hope of meeting Taku in person.
'Taku,' yelled Kazuya as he spotted Taku outside the agency building.
Taku was surprised but quickly smiled back, 'Kazuya? You didn't change a lot since then.'
With no patience for meaningless greetings, Kazuya asked directly, 'You are getting married?'
'Yes,' Taku looked at the brown envelope Kazuya's holding which contains the wedding invitation, 'you've read the invitation, right?'
The thought that he was no longer an important part of Taku's life irritated Kazuya. Even more, he felt betrayed because Taku didn't mention anything about his fiancee. Rage built up inside him but he tried to remain calm, 'Well, who's this Nako who captured your heart?'
Taku showed him a photo of him and Nako travelling together. There was no doubt that Nako was a beauty and she looked great with Taku as a couple.
'Does she love you?' Kazuya tried to ridculate Taku's marriage.
'She does, of course,' Taku rubbed his engagement ring, 'She's a girl with a kind heart. She will be a good wife and mother.'
Kazuya was surprised - the boy who had said he would wait for him was becoming a husband and a father. Taku was living a new life without him and this made him feel bad. It was at that time did Kazuya realise that Taku was only a possession to him. Taku was everything he's got after he lost his music career.
'I thought you would wait for me,' Kazuya smiled bitterly. Having neglected Taku's feelings so many years, he knew it was selfish of him to say so. But he just had to vent his feelings.
Taku stared at Kazuya, said sternly, 'Well, have you ever loved me?'
'Yes, I always love you.'
'As a toy?'
Kazuya was speechless and he knew he had lost everything. Feeling defeated, he fell on Taku and apologised repeatedly, 'I'm so sorry but we can start over as lovers...'
10 years after that day he met Kazuya, finally, Taku heard what he had longed for from Kazuya. But there was no way back. If only Kazuya had confessed to him earlier, he would not have dated Nako. Rain poured down as if god was moved by their relationship reaching a tragic end, mixing with the tears flowing down the cheeks of Taku who became emotional.
'Too late already...' Taku hugged Kazuya, 'I have a family to look after now. Nako and my son need me.'
They stood still in the rain, both trying to move on from the past.

After a few days, Kazuya attended Taku's wedding in a grand church. It didn't feel good for Kazuya to watch Taku walking into a new stage of life with someone other than him, but the warm weather and joyful atmosphere made him feel a bit better.
'Mister, are you Kazuya from NO DIRECTIONS?' asked a group of teen girls shyly.
Kazuya smiled and nodded.
'Ohhhh, can we have a selfie? You're our bias,' asked the girls excitedly.
'Sure,' Kazuya answered in a cheerful voice.
The girls left happily with the selfies. And Kazuya felt relieved. He hadn't lost everything - at least he still had his fans and supporters. He looked at the blue sky and shouted:
'I will be back!'
