Description Well, now I'm doing the Walkens characters and adding in their backstories, likes and dislikes, etc. as well as how I created them.
To start off, this is Laura Montgomery, the eldest of three girls and a twin. Her sisters are Madeline (her twin sister, nicknamed Maddi) and Monica (nicknamed Moni).
She was created after I got the just like you doll #23 from American Girl (my third doll) on January 5th, 2008 in the AG Place in New York City which her appearance is modeled after the doll's appearance of light skin with freckles, light blue eyes, and slightly passed shoulder length brown hair and the day I got her is her and her twin sister's birthday. They were born on January 5th, 1998.
Originally when I created her when Walkens was Dollytown, Laura was one of two girls and her immediate family name shared my last name and their backstory was overtly tragic (their mother died and their father was wrongfully convicted for her death).
Their updated story goes like this. She and her sisters lose their mother to a terminal illness she'd battled for months and it leaves their father a widower. They move to the city of Walkens (their parents childhood hometown) from Manhattan in the summer of 2006 into their mother's childhood home and they start school there. Laura is the most courageous of the sisters but was most affected by her mother's death as they were very close. During her school days, she picks up a talent for playing clarinet (an instrument her father played) and for singing as a Soprano 2. She also has a passion for journalism, an honest reporter for her school's newspaper club. Her favorite subject is English (and excels the best) while she struggles with geometry although she does good in the subject. She is one of the top scholars, an active member of the national honors society, and was in the top 50 of her senior class upon her graduation in 2016 (she was #45 and her sister Maddi was ranked slightly above her at number #44). She goes to college to study journalism further and gets her bachelor's in journalism and a minor in English literature and graduates as a magna cum laude while participating in some of her colleges clubs, and becomes one of the most honest journalist in the country in a sea of complete bias, looking at both sides of the story and the truth. She even fights the bias yellow journalists that like to spread propaganda and tabloids with the full story, not nonsense nor bias opinions no matter how much they hate it. Hell, she stands up to queen bee Lizzie in elementary school.
