Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII)
Wolf Link (The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess)
I always wanted to draw something with these three...
especially Wolf Link, since I just finished up on the epic Twilight Princess ~
my three favorite video game "animals"
(in which I mean not anthro like Sly, Daxter or Ratchet etc.)

Well, I only know Sora and Wolf Link, but the details on all three are very well executed.
Although I liked playing as lion Sora, Wolf Link has my vote for the most... erm... variation. Wolf Link is a lot different that Link in both form and ability, and I love how different they are.
Sora is super cute though...

lion Sora was so super cute... that's why I wanted to draw him...
You don't know Red XIII? if I may say, he isn't the best or the strongest character, but(!) he has a very lovely,
caring and sweet yet brave personality, which makes him stand out a lot more then the other characters and really leaves an inprint...
and for the picture... hehe thank you

I think the colouring made it look so lovely, and it really distinguishes each of the characters,
plus... I really like how vivid, calm, peaceful yet alive it came out ~ just like a nice lazy day ~ *wink*

I like the textures you used for them; nice and smooth and a little light.
Also, considering that this is drawn and that there aren't ANY pictures to use as a reference for the positions they're in is very impressive. Red IIIX in particular was drawn very well.
Sora does look rather energetic, but then again I think that's very good in character, because I've never seen him just chill out, even in a relaxing place. He's always fighting or running or lighting things on fire... or singing.
How long exactly did you say you worked on it? Hours definitely wouldn't be surprising...

oh mai... hehe... a couple of hours on the sketch,
the again a couple more on the colouring, I'm always very careful on the colouring/ inking...
drawing like me, by hand, is very frustrating and hard sometimes...
one mistake and many hours of work could be lost (it happened many times to me)
sometimes I envy those who works in a computor... one mistake and you just have to click the undo button...
in the end though,
all my hard efforts was worth it,
because it became a great and lovely picture ~

Agreed. Simply said, I too love "perfection" art, stuff that can be devastated in one stroke. I mean I drew this all on paper, with a very permanent pen.
It's one of my favorites though.
Occasionally you'll see me submit a pencil drawing or sketching, 'cause I usually base all my digital drawings off them.

I think I am one of the few artists who keeps it 100% traditional...
I know some who draws with pencils, copic markers etc. but they still tend to use
some sort of program to improve their pictures (even though they coloured it already traditionally)

Actually, if you see anything pencil show up on my page, it's 100% of what's actually there. I never make any improvements or anything to just pencil work, but if I do convert it, it's 100% digital.
Something about changing a pencil drawing but keeping it nearly the same freaks me out a little, like a hybrid monster between a human and a pickle... O__o

[it's just that one time, i thought you were gonna color in ms paint, which, you gotta admitt, would be intresting to see
