Description
In sleep he sang to me
in dreams he came...
that voice which calls to me
and speaks my name
And do I dream again?
For now I find
the Phantom of the Opera is there-
inside my mind...
Sing once again with me
our strange duet...
My power over you
grows stronger yet...
And though you turn from me,
to glance behind,
the Phantom of the Opera is there-
inside your mind...
Because the movie is freaking amazing...
I never did realize that until very recently,
as in when I started to listen to the OST...
Now for something about the picture... Well, for around one year ago,
I saw Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera (2004 movie)
and I thought it was great, it was a little masterpiece in its own way <3
Now, just recently, I found accidentally one specific little song by the
band Nightwish, that is to say, with a title that caught my interest;
The Phantom of the Opera
Man... it is... amazing... that song is just... I love it so very much <3
So with my mind flooded with the epicness that is TPotO, it was also
filled with the most delicious thoughts of more Stewie x Brian, and so
during my everyday bus drive to the school, my thoughts just clashed.
I had this image of Brian and Stewie dancing to the tunes of the song,
entranced in its melody and drama, as the Phantom and his Christine.
With an image so clear in my mind, I just knew I had to draw it out...
That day, fate granted me a lucky encounter with just zapping through
the channels of the TV, and there on, just happened to be Family Guy.
So of course I watched it and the episode... it was so sweet and sad...
Basically Stewie thought he was dying, so he wanted Brian to teach him
how to ballroom dance, and in the mids of their movement, he spoke his
words of love to Brian, and I just knew, knew this was the scene I'd been
looking for...
It was... perfect... their dance... their love...
With inspirations from the love, music and TV,
this is what creation that was born from it <3
Now go watch the 2004's The Phantom of the Opera ~
I really love musicals, but this one is... pure beauty...

I pay for my subscription, and for ever so long,
since the day I joined, I never said anything of
being dissatisfied with dA, but now, I'm enraged,
especially since I am a PAYING user, and without
users, there are no deviantART
I just... hate it now, I was even planning
to upload some new art, but... no, I won't,
I'm still too annoyed and confused... to be
fair, I do like how my profile looks... but I
hate, hate, HATE how your deviations looks,
they look like shit now... with all these click
arrows and whatnot around, damn it to hell

btw,
have you noticed it seem like most beta-testers around here
are quite... well, to put it more nicely, not very nice to people?
they seem really protective towards the admins, and the site,
I've seen several instances where they even called deviants
wrong, for disagreeing with the subject of dA V7, and like...
that it's the deviants faults who can't accept the changes >:/

I love this movie, and I can totally imagine both of them playing these characters should the show ever come to Quahog. I mean, Stewie likes to cross dress, and no one really sees Brian's potential...Ahh I love it.

lombnut In reply to Kayami-Naru [2010-04-24 23:09:12 +0000 UTC]
hmm, then as a fan...
do their role here, also fit their role as on the show?
I think so... because here, Stewie is something pure
(white) and the Phantom is something 'bad' (black).
Brian is something 'adult', that he can be bad, do
bad actions and deeds, but at the same time, he can
also be very careing, and concerning, having a great
heart under all that. Stewie is, sure - bad, but he
is still a child, and it that way... pure ~
I like that, how their roles/colors here mirror what they are
in reality... that, or am I just reading too deep into it? XDD

Kayami-Naru In reply to lombnut [2010-05-02 01:49:43 +0000 UTC]
No, that isn't too deep. It's amazing. And I saw it as, Brian is something misunderstood, while Stewie is regularly part of the attention. Due to the fact that he is a child.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
lombnut In reply to Kayami-Naru [2010-05-02 08:07:21 +0000 UTC]
yes <3
they both are a bit of, misunderstood geniuses,
because no one seem to see them for their full
potential, or even acknowledge and use that, it
seem the only one who sees that are them both,
that Brian can see Stewie's, and Stewie can see
Brian's...
does that make sense?
which, again, proves just why they
are so perfect for one another <3

Kayami-Naru In reply to lombnut [2010-05-04 06:03:34 +0000 UTC]
Exactly, exactly! There's so much underneath the crude humor of this show that no one really pays attention too. (As I typed this, the show came on)
But yes, it makes perfect sense to me, and yes they are perfect of each other in so many ways. Especially when Stewie cross dresses as Karina. "Helllooo everyybodyy". God I love that episode.
Sometimes I think that Brian is just lying to himself when he says he loves Lois, to try to hide his undying love for Stewie.<3

lombnut In reply to Kayami-Naru [2010-05-04 15:30:51 +0000 UTC]
well... I think Lois herself, said it the best, with an
excellent quote from the superb story Broken Wings
Lois sighed and turned away from him. She was looking out of the living room
window, but Brian could tell that her mind was a million miles away. "I'm not."
She said quietly as he turned back to stare at Brian intently. "I've been
watching the two of you for over five years now. I knew that Stewie was in love
with you long before you did, Brian. And I also know that you love him as well...
In the exact same way."
Brian's mouth fell open as he stared at her. A look of disbelief marring his
features. "That's absolutely crazy! I was in love with you. Not Stewie! There's
no way that you're right." He yelled as quietly as he could without Jillian and
Peter hearing.
"Brian, have you ever thought that maybe you were in love with me because you
were in love with Stewie. You've already practically told me that your marrying
Jillian to try and stop loving me. Couldn't it be possible that you started
loving me for the exact same reason." Brian made to interrupt her, but Lois just
talked over him. "Maybe you didn't consciously love him. Maybe you didn't even
realize you were doing it, but I saw it in your eyes sometimes when you looked at
him. You looked like a love-struck teenager. It was impossible for anyone not to
notice it. Except Stewie, perhaps, but he thought that his own feelings were
completely one-sided. So he wouldn't be looking for it."

yeah the pose is wonderful, it's from an episode,
I print-screened several shots of them in this
dancing moment, to use as a reference, but this
was the best one I think, it is very... seductive?
oh and Family Guy is so awesome
gotta love how Seth MacFarlane keeps
re-using the same idea every time, and
yet he manages to keep it entertaining
(The Simpsons) -> Family Guy -> The Cleveland Show -> American Dad -> ????
