heres the wallpaper version of [link]fav's and watches and comments are all appreciated equally.
thanks to all who fav'd commented and watched me, its just not possible for me to be able to thank each and every person, so ill do it on here, so thanks again people, and the ones that also fav'd other pieces of mine, its hard to tell everyone thanks when theres 200+ messages.

its going to happen, no one patents styles. you cant say "ZOMG ITS MY STYLE YOU CANT USE IT" someone somewhere is always going to try to imitate things, hell not just art, it happens in all kinds of stuff.

I'll grow up just as soon as you stop using fallacies to try and discredit a valid point. The person you brought up had nothing to do with the discussion at hand. The truth is, the work in questions is EXACTLY like the style of WWFT. I'd understand if he drew inspiration from them, and then applied it to his own thought process in order to push the boundries of the style. That certainly isn't the case. It's fun to try and copy someone's style I guess, and he is deffinitely allowed to do it. I respect his right to copy whatever style he wants. It's just a little childish to claim the style as your own and give no credit to the major influence of it. Bleh...

I know he1z isnt directly related to the current issue, but its a great example. You know how many people make stuff that looks EXACTLY like his stuff without ever giving credit to him? Why dont you go pick out all of them and call them out on it too...and where did Lonewolf say that this was his style?

Nothing is unique, not in physical form anyhow. Once it leaves your head its no longer an original idea. And its not massively unoriginal, I have yet to see a piece with floating trees and blobs smoking weed.

Art isnt so much about the style, its more about the expression and message. Style just shapes the form the expression takes. Style isnt so important, it just defines which group of people will take a pleasure to the art.

Maybe you don't know anything about arthistory but when a new style is developed.. lets say IMPRESSIONISM then all the current artist build on that style.. theres no such thing as a rip.. its just stupid people who think they own the rights to a certain idea.. You obviously haven't thought too hard about your argument, comparing WWFT to Impressionism is laughable. That's like saying WWFT is a whole art movement on their own. They're not, they're one design group who work within a particular art style, being 2d vector art. I have no problems with people working and expanding within that movement, but believe it or not it is possible to create vector art without mimicing WWFT.
I just realised quite how meaningless most of your comment actually is... 'theres no such thing as a rip'. Well firstly I didn't say it was a rip anyway, and secondly there is such a thing as a rip, and that's the theft of artwork, as in breaking copyright. Did you write this comment just for me or did you copy and paste to a whole group of people at once?
There is a very very big difference between working in the same graphical style and same creative style as someone. I think Lonewolf has strayed way too far into WWFT's creative style.
If you want to go around insulting people, you should probably put more thought into your arguments/analogies. I think lonewolf would do off a lot better without you stumbling to his defence.

I wasn't targetting you personally, I just think you shouldn't scold people because they have a similar style to other people.. There is alot of differences in the art... I don't think it was inspired by the other peice.. I like lonewolf's art... I wasn't comparing I was just showing you an example of how this community should be.. unless somebody actually cut/pastes a peice of somebody else's work then it really isn't rip. I think if somebodies art really inspires you, and you want to reproduce the same style thats fine... for example.. The Foo Fighters did a cover for Stairway to heaven, same words just sung with the foo fighters way.. They did that because led zeppelin inspired them so much.. The artists should be happy people use there style.. I was attacking you directly in anyway.. I just think you should have a more open mind to the whole inspiration thing.
I have put alot of thought into my comments too.. anyways, Im not trying to argue im just trying to help my friend when almost all the of the comments were bad.. nothing to help him.
If somebody were to use the same style that you do? you wouldn't be happy that you helped them develop there technique? Thats what you have to do in the start.... build on others techniques until you get to a point where you think up your own great ideas... I know im not their yet, im not trying to say I am.. you definatly are, maybe you just forgot what it was like starting out.

that's ok, I just think that he has real talent and it's a shame he doesn't go create his own style. At least the foo fighters didn't pretend SWTH was their own song. I think he should have at least mentioned WWFT, as they are obviously his inspiration. I do remember what it was like starting out and I don't think I'm really in much of a different situation now.

I think it was Computer Arts or whatever it's called. The one showed in the mag was pretty abstract though.
