Description
This one was inspired by an old woodcut I saw a few years ago in the margin of a Folgers Shakespeare book (Henry VII?). It showed a 16th century mercenary attacking a personified Death, and Folgers' caption was "Assailing Death". I've always liked the "Dance of Death" genre of woodcuts and I like to model armor, so an homage seemed like a natural step.

I used some pieces from models I've made for Poison Fruit, but added quite a bit of detailing. I also made 100% new PBR textures. This piece took way longer to complete than I had expected---plate armor is a time sucker---but I'm happy with how it came out.
