A small beetle endemic to New Zealand. Prismacolor watercolours on Archers watercolour paper.
I am very much disliking the inability of Prismacolor watercolour pencils to keep a fine point. I have to sharpen them every few seconds and they break easily. Inktense keep a point much better but aren't quite so versatile. I think I would rather have a full set of Inktense than Prismacolor, just for the better, brighter colours and the ability to keep a point!
