I'm wearing a southern traditional thob.. My grandmother -may her soul rest in peace- used to wear such thobs all the time.. and holding Holy Qura'an in my hands

This piece is exceptional. The way the light shines through the lattice and you are staring out into the light while clutching your holy book close to your heart; it's almost as if you're staring into a brighter future or the grace of your god... as if the your faith is giving you hope and you're seeing the peace and joy which it gives you.

I like that you are holding the Qura'an as you look through the window. The light appears to shed a higher dimension of Faith in Allah and the world below, and the difference between being in light, and darkness. Beautiful work.
