Labra's had just about enough.
She was getting tired of all the other Jewelpets telling her what to do, just because she was younger than them. Sure, she cared a lot about her friends, especially Ruby, but she was just getting sick of nobody letting her do what she wanted to do. So what if she wanted to eat candy and ice cream for every meal, it made her happy, right? And yet, Ruby still tried to stop her from doing that, just because it was "unhealthy." Labra didn't care about that! She knew she had to do something about Ruby if this baby polar bear was ever gonna get her way. She wanted to remove Ruby from the equation, but without hurting her. She was still Labra's friend, after all. That's when she started to do what she did best; she mischievously got to work on some blueprints for a machine that'll help fix her problem~
Ruby was looking for Labra after she ran off in a fit of tantrum-induced rage. She searched high and low for her, when suddenly Labra made herself known!
"Come and get me!" Labra exclaimed, shaking her bear tail at Ruby!
"Hey! Come back!" Ruby gave chase and ran after her! All according to Labra's plan~ The bear was chased down an alleyway and was cornered! "Why are you running? Can't we just talk this out, Labra?"
But Labra wasn't willing to talk. She had other things planned. She backed up further and further until she was almost against the wall, when suddenly she pulled out a remote! Ruby was too busy trying to talk to Labra that she didn't realize she stepped right on a trapdoor! When Labra pushed the button, Ruby could feel all ground beneath her give way, and she started plummeting!
"Labraaaaaaa!" Ruby screamed on her way down! She landed onto a slide, which slid her down and all around until suddenly the slide ended at an opening! SPLASH! The bunny safely landed in some kind of chamber! It was full of some kind of clear liquid, knee deep! The floral scent of soap filled the entire chamber, and it was potent enough for Ruby to smell it right away!
"Where am I? It actually... smells really nice in here~" She looked down at the clear liquid and felt its slightly sticky properties. She could feel the liquid soaking into her paws! She sniffed her paws to see if the soapy scent was coming from the liquid! When the smell hit her strong bunny nostrils, she imagined she was in a flower meadow~
She decided to get up and look around, which is when she saw a circular ring of high wall surrounding her! The way it was shaped made her feel like it was as if she was stuck inside a giant mug! She tried to get closer to the wall to see if she could climb out. Might be possible, but not easy. That's when she accidentally kicked something! She looked down again and saw a weird looking ring that lined the inside of the chamber, currently marinating in the strange liquid!
"Hey, this kinda looks like a bubble wand!" That's when it clicked with her. "Wait a minute..."
At that very moment, she saw the ring start to rise up from the liquid, dripping with its juices! "Oh no... I knew the smell was familiar!" Ruby realized that it is a bubble wand, and the sticky liquid was bubble formula!
The bunny frantically looked around the room to see if she could find some kind of exit; that was when she saw a small glass window up above, which revealed Labra at the controls, watching the whole thing unfold! With a mischievous grin on her little bear face, Ruby could tell she was loving every moment of this! And frankly, Ruby wasn't completely against this crazy idea, it did smell kinda nice in here, and the bubble formula she was standing in was at a comfortably warm temperature~ No! She had to try and make her escape, she couldn't let Labra do this!
She tried to run at the wall, but the bubble formula made her slip and fall when she started running! SPLOSH! She could feel the liquid soaking into her back now as she got back up! The bubble wand was still being raised, so she knew she had no time to lose and tried again! She minded her footing, and tried to go for it again! She jumped at the wall, grabbing onto it and trying to climb up! Unfortunately, her now slippery body from the juices made it difficult to grab hold of anything, and despite her valiant efforts, she slipped out from the wall and once again landed into the liquid! kerSPLASH! She was starting to get soaking wet from the bubble formula. She was relieved that it must be some kind of magical variant of bubble formula, as it didn't burn her eyes. At least Labra thought to make this harmless for her, but more importantly it made her smell so good~ "Ruby, get a hold of yourself!" She slapped her cheeks to snap her out of this weird pleasure she got from this situation!
Ruby looked up at the bubble wand again. She could tell it was almost at the top, and that she was almost out of time! "I gotta... do something!" Ruby looked at the ground and saw that she must've dropped her Jewel Stick when she landed in here, for she saw it beneath the soapy juices! She reached over for her Jewel Stick and tried to raise it into the air to cast a spell, but it slipped out of her soaked paws!
Ruby was out of time! Labra watched her struggle and was loving every moment of this! "Here comes the best part, labu~" Labra pushed a button to make it drop down on her!
Ruby acted fast and caught the bubble wand before it dropped down all the way! With all her strength, she tried to hold it up to keep it from trapping her! The bubble started to form above her, but seems to not capture her unless the bubble wand drops all the way down! With this in mind, she grit her teeth and pushed up to fight back against the bubble wand as hard as she could! "Grrrrrgh, no!"
"You're just making this more exciting for me, labu~" The evil baby bear turned up the intensity of the bubble wand's power, making it harder for Ruby to keep it held up! She bent their knees as it dropped lower onto her! Eventually, Ruby couldn't keep her footing in the slippery liquid and slid onto her back!~ The wand finally closed down on her, and... BWOOMPH!~ The magic bubble formed around her, suspending her in the air!
"YES!~ Gotcha, labu!~" Labra cheered as she watched Ruby float around inside her new soapy prison!
"Aaaah! Let me out!" Bbbbb~ The bubble made a soft stretching sound as Ruby tried escape! Brrrrrrrrr~ She felt the bubble stretch against her body, which was so soft and stretchy that Ruby was indeed starting to like this! "Rrrrrgh, come on!~" No matter how hard she pushed against the bubble, or tried to pop it, the bubble merely bent and stretched, and then jiggled to its perfect spherical shape with a bbbbomph!
"You can forget it, Ruby! It's impossible to break out of it, for at least 3 hours labu~" The baby polar bear smirked
"Huh? Why specifically three hours?" Ruby asks, stopping for a moment!
"Well come on, I'm not a monster, labu~ I'm not gonna keep you in there forever! The bubble will slowly deteriorate over time and eventually will pop on its own, which should take about three hours, labu~ Juuuuust enough time for me to have my own fun WITHOUT you!" Labra revealed Ruby's coin purse that, on the way down the side, she managed to snag without Ruby noticing until now! Labra started rummaging through it and scooping up all the coins inside!
"Wha? That's my coin purse, give it back!" Ruby exclaims "You can't just take my-"
"Don't get your ears in a knot, labu! I'm not taking all of it! Here, I'll leave you with... three coins, labu~" She then proceeded to drop only three coins back into the purse!
"THREE COINS?!" She was appalled at how little she was leaving for Ruby!
"See ya, labu!~" She left Ruby's coin purse there, and ran off!
"No, come back here! Labra come back!" She started to push against the bubble again, trying to push harder than ever! "Rrrrrrgh!~" This only made the bubble jiggle more when it rebounded on her! She was pushed backward and the bubble shifted weight until she got back up! By the time she got back up, Labra was gone. Well, I guess she's here all by herself for the next three hours. Still, something about being trapped in a bubble like this ain't so bad! She actually felt it... exciting, and calming!
Chilling inside this bubble is the only thing she can do, whether she likes it or not! So might as well enjoy it, right?
