There was a legend of an old blacksmith with a living crucible. A magical being made of fire, rock, and metal. The furnace moved like a living being, and could even talk using the flames in their core. But that was a tale way before my time, and as of late man made golems have never been this advanced.

Or at least until one of the blacksmiths descendants sought to emulate this experiment, and created the golem that we now know as Blaze.

I was lucky to get in touch with him through the coming months about a similar situation I've been having with my recent project, a golem who's been calling themselves Jann. So when I asked him how he made such an advanced golem, he said he used a magic gem along with the materials he used as a conduit.

That was when I realized something, I must've accidentally picked up a gem that was similar to the one used to make Blaze while I was gathering materials to make Jann.

As for the two golems, they got along surprisingly well. Blaze teaching Jann how to shapeshift, mainly how to change their face. Jann learning how to make themselves another eye, and more importantly. How to speak.

I was gonna make the golem fully made of fire, but I kinda wanted to do a bit more with it and decided "hey, I like robot adjacent drawings" and then boom, furnace.
