When I first encountered this creature it was hiding even though there was no danger in sight; looking like they've been laying dormant for years on end. When it looked at me with it's sunken eyes it had this uncomfterable aura around them which I could've sworn it was draining my emotions and made me slowly lose my ability to think straight. Much less walk any further towards the being as I felt uncertain.. almost afraid as my mind wandered to the many ways the monster could've got away or worse; kill me if I took

The mosnter seemed to have sensed this within me and decided to slowly approach once I was worn down enough, the feeling of fear growing more intense.. but it didn't have the intent to harm, only staring into my soul before laying dormant again as the feeling of dread seemed to lift but caused me to run hastily away regardless..
