I do indeed gather so - it was a lot of fun and a bit of an honour to work on his characters.
Cheers!

Kind of - Mike wanted the Goblin king but made a note to not make it look too much like Bowie cos he didnt want to get sued

I think I spy a bit of vampire Christopher Lee too...

Great stuff. Hilarious. I'd like to think that the pug fires one shot to merely wound and then finishes with flourish with his blade.

Adorable and frightening at the same time!
Also, is that Jarreth the Goblin King I see in the right corner?

Indeed - though I tried to make him a little less Bowie by changing his nose etc

Amazing work! DogΒ΄s expression is soo funny. I say again how I love that way you paint... it's so smooth. What kind of brushes do you use?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Loopydave In reply to MrRabLo [2012-03-27 12:06:17 +0000 UTC]

I pretty much stick to two brushes - the standard hard edge brush in photoshop for most of my work, and the standard soft edge brush in photoshop for painting soft grades. Dont think I used a single other brush on this job actually... oh well
Cheers!

Thanks for responding. If you use those brushes... I dont know how you get this results...I guess is talent xDD But when you use the standard hard edge brush... How much opacity do you give?
Bff, sorry for my terrible english in this last part (well, in everything actually xD), I dont know how to say it in your language ^^Β΄ I hope you understand me (:

Your english is excellent - and infinitely better than my non-existant Spanish Unless I'm painting a clean edge, I tend to keep the brush at quite a low opacity.. here's a few step by steps of how I work if that helps [link] [link]
Cheers!
