Cover to Mike Nortons funfilled crazy apocalyptic graphic novel 'The Curse' starring Baxter the pug dog, coming soon from Omni press.He also has a web comic called 'Battlepug' at [link] which is a heap of fun too.. go check it out!

I thought I had this faved on my old account... but obviously not, because it's currently not in
my favourites.
I really like this image; it is one bad-arse pug! But I really like the collaged effect in the background
of the other figures, keeping the focus on the pug. Beautiful work!

Is that David Bowie as Jared the Goblin King in the top right corner?

The short answer is, yes. The longer answer is still yes, but complicatedβ¦
The Goblin king appears in the comic but Mike didn't want him looking too much like Bowie on the cover⦠so I painted him with a different nose and played with his features while I painted, but all I ended up doing was creating something that STILL looked like him BUT looked like I didn't do a very good job of it. Unfortunately its the first bit everyone notices now
