Is there no way you can sell it through DA? I will only buy a copy if the proceeds (or majority thereof) go to the author/artist. You are the talent, not the publishers.

Its actually a photo taken by the publisher, not me, but I'm sure he'll appreciate the feedback .

I'll be selling copies directly myself in a few months... just have to ship my share of the print run over from the US first. I will be getting the proceeds from those copies - and hopefully sell enough to cover my importing costs

Is that right?  You don't get a share of the publisher's on-line sales?  Well, open up a store front on Amazon selling books and your old socks and shoes or whatever and let the money roll in.  I'll wait to buy if it means you'll get a chunk of change directly... just let us know when/how that happens.

  BTW, how much would it cost to get volume II dedicated to me... "This book would not have been possible without... "?

And hey, if you pay for the complete print run of volume two, I'd even call it "J. Sinclair presents: the art of loopydave volume 2" and paint your portraite on page one

Wow, I could be the Stan Lee of the loopdave empire!  I'll send you a picture to use.  People say I look a lot like Johnny Depp, especially in the pirate outfit.  You can judge.  Bring out the inner me so folks aren't confused... and that's my girlfriend standing behind me... who has a strange coincidental resemblance to Keira Knightley.
