Jawdropping...You are so comfortable and confident with the value and colors. How long do you take for a piece like this? Like others, I am so speechless...

Thanks - this one took around 4 days if I remember correctly, which is a little quicker than some of my other pinups - they can take as little as 3 days (I have to learn how to work faster I think) and I once did one that took a month to finish.

Oh, 3 days is fast for such superb quality. Thanks for the info, your time line and quality will be a good gauge for me. Looking much forward to your next piece!

Fantastic! I love the way you approached her dragonesque bits. A nice take on what most artists usually convey in plate like scales.

Thanks ma'am! Felt scales or plates would make her a little 'cold' so went with patterns instead, which keeps the feeling more 'flesh' like.

It would make it so much more interesting if you weren't fully clothed! Us Aussies gotta battle the humidity here some how right?

The dragon - simply awesome! The wings are exquisite, and its expression, looking at the book - priceless. I read the comments re the "no hands" thing, and I think it still works - birds have no hands, right?
The girl (?) - love the foot & toes, really a lovely touch, the pose and whole feel of her - almost perfect. The one glitch: the tail. It's a bit comforting to know that even a seasoned pro like yourself sometimes effs-up at the planning stage (a monkee I've been carrying on my own back for ages)... I think having it curve back would have worked just fine.
Final verdict: 9.5 (MAN I'm harsh! )

Indeed, birds do not have hands, unless drawn by Disney (where even the most inanimate object must have hands, a mouth and be able to break into song at any given moment).
I wouldnt call you harsh either - you may have given me a 9.5 but the Russian judge only gave me a 7 (seems to think I stuffed up the dismount )
Cheers Yatz!

somewhere in your head is a sexy Playboy layout of her brushing her teeth, full monty, doing dragon chick stuff... bowling. Ummm, ok, no bowling.

Funny you should mention bowling - she lists her favourite pastimes as walks on the beach, sunsets and extreme bowling (extreme bowling uses a flameable ball, ten pins filled with kerosine wrapped in c4 and a stream of molten lava running through the lanes gutter).

Cheers man! Nude always works better - you ever tried putting on a pair of pants when you have a long tail out the back, or a shirt when you have spikes or wings? Doesnt really work without a very clever tailor and lots of buckles!

Unusual? Whats unusual about a half dragon woman reading a book on dragons, naked on the floor, with another dragon on her shoulder? I see stuff like that everyday! Sure its after I take my medication, and the elephant that lives in my hair has been telling me to ignore the dragons, coz they have been telling lies about him, but who should I believe - the invisible elephant or the imaginary dragons?
Cheers mate - glad you like!
