And you thought the quality couldn't drop any lower

Okay so basically what happens next is that Ankur gets a call on his burner phone from a mysterious patron calling a hit on Pin and Tippy. This triggers a memory of a previous hit, and he converses with the current voice identically to that of a previous patron. However, the memory breaks when the current buyer reveals that they know quite a bit about Ankur's coincidental partner, "or should I say... your creator?" and he resolves to kill Pin and Tippy in order to learn more.

Rudely and pretentiously, Ankur reveals to Pin that he has been commissioned to murder them and shows off the burner phone in question melodramatically as Pin decides that the phone may contain some sort of clue as to how to get home, seeing as how the mysterious voice was aware of their identity and partner.

Ankur shoots an arrow, declaring "Requiescat in pace," a reference to Assassin's Creed. Pin dodges, barely, and rises to notice that another voice is speaking in sync with them as they out him for what they believe to be a Cask of Amontillado joke: a second Pin!?

They realize in this moment that their power is to create illusions. The two Pins cockily declare that now Ankur won't know which one to shoot, but to Pin's horror, they are cut off mid-sentence as Ankur shoots the clone, poofing it. The two fight for a bit, Ankur shooting and Pin manifesting a variety of illusions to protect themself, but things look bleak. On an impulse, Pin grabs Tippy and yeets him at Ankur. Tippy teleports through the air with his new hood, grabs an arow mid-fire, and lands squarely on Ankur, stabbing him violently in the arm and knocking him out due to heavy blood loss. Pin approaches Lahel (kolo-dragon ), who is using her water to heal Ankur, and invites her to ditch her partner and find a way out with them and Tippy. Lahel politely declines, insisting that Ankur is "her responsibility," and that she has to look after him. This sentiment strikes a chord with Pin, who reflects on how they've been treating Tippy. Nonetheless, they take Ankur's burner phone and ditch their opponents.

The comic cuts to Caj (CajamaPat ) and Morph (Elforgotten ) again, who have been watching the events through the Jacob's Plains security cameras. Caj expresses amazement that Pin was able to take out Ankur, and Morph agrees, adding that "they never would have called him had they thought he'd have failed so miserably." Caj asks how Morph was able to reach him, considering the lack of service in the app, to which Morph replies that they wouldn't be the host without a few tricks up their sleeve.

Finally, the comic cuts back to Pin and Tippy staring over the phone and dramatically opening up the call history. Along with several calls labelled by emojis, the last call simply says "[Private Number.]"

The final frame is a wide shot of Maiden Island as pin screams "Fuck!" at the top of their lungs.
